Cora Brittan

‘Floating Ladies rising like laughter, their ballooning skirts shimmering against silver skies.’

Cora Brittan’s superbly crafted, whimsical images have always celebrated the creative potential of the human spirit. In 2002, she was commissioned to create the Community Spirit Awards for the Town of Oakville. The Community Spirit Awards were a perfect fit for this artist, whose work demonstrates that the richness of our lives can ultimately be measured by our capacity to imagine and dream, both as individuals and as a community.
