May 4 – June 1, 2013 - 20/20 - 20 years, 20 artists and a vision for the future

Our first exhibition at our new gallery space at 401 Richmond St. W. in Toronto opens on Saturday May 4. The grand opening reception will take place on Wednesday May 22 at 5 pm. Most of our artists will be present. We will have new work by David Blackwood, Chris Broadhurst, Ron Eady, Heather Horton, Dan Steeves, Jennifer Walton, Olexander Wlasenko and more.

Bellwoods Brewery LogoHeather Horton, November 2-17, 2012, ‘Surfacing’, Opening reception with the artist, Saturday November 3, 2 - 5 pm. ‘Surfacing’ marks our fourth solo exhibition for Heather and collectors have been eagerly awaiting this new body of work. Refreshments for Heather’s opening reception generously provided by Bellwoods Brewery, a new brewpub located in Toronto. Heather was selected as one of their first ‘tasters’ (read her comments in the Globe and Mail article on Bellwoods’ web site in the media section). Bellwoods recently opened in a converted garage in the up and coming Ossington Avenue area of Toronto and currently have 14 beers in production. They are part of a growing trend to the independent micro-brewery; giving clients a wider choice of interesting brews. Jennifer Walton, 'Beaches, Lakes, Frozen Ponds' - October 12 – 27, 2012. Jennifer Walton won the prestigious Royal Bank of Canada national painting competition in 1999, its inaugural year. She was also a second place winner of the Kingston Prize, Canada's National Portrait Competition. Her work has frequently been critically reviewed and she has been invited to numerous artist residencies.
We first exhibited Jennifer’s paintings in the fall of 2011 and had very positive reaction from our clients. We are very pleased to announce our first solo exhibition for her. All work is subject to pre-sale. Exhibition Site

Imagining Narratives February 23 – March 31, 2012
In this exhibition, we invite the viewer to share with us the narrative they find in the works of art on display. We may provide you with hints to the underlying stories but we are most interested in the narrative that you draw from the image.
In the Project Room: an exhibition of 10 paintings by Lila Lewis Irving in conjunction with ‘Con Spirito’ a major retrospective of her work at the Art Gallery of Mississauga.

Steve Nease July 13 -30, 2011
Original cartoons by Oakville's favourite cartoonist and creator of 'Pud', Steve Nease. Steve Nease is a cartoonist based in Oakville, Ontario. His editorial cartoons and his family humour comic strip, 'Pud', are nationally syndicated and appear locally in the community newspaper The Oakville Beaver. Steve recently won the Ontario Community Newspapers Association 'Cartoonist of the Year award' for the 8th time and he is a ten-time recipient of the Canadian Community Newspapers Award for cartooning.
