Rousing reception for Rebecca

March 10, 2017 Blog

Great turnout last night for Rebecca Hollett’s thesis exhibition. Rebecca is a graduating student in the sculpture program at OCAD and we’re thrilled to host her exhibition. It’s only on until March 18 and with prices from $ 400.00 you better hurry in to see the work….

Rebecca Hollett’s work is based on fairy tales and her personal connect to them. Originating from her childhood love of the natural and supernatural, this work aims to approach the often ambiguous and complex nature of fairy tales and interpret them into new ways of viewing. Working with Germanic folklore and using a materials aspect, she investigates these ideas through strong female characters and animals.
