Fabiana Salomao’s Bossa in House seamlessly blends modernism with the vibrant spirit of bossa nova, celebrating the “new wave” of samba and jazz that emerged from Rio’s Copacabana in 1956. This exhibition captures the movement that influenced art, music, design, and architecture, reflecting a romantic, carefree lifestyle. Using acrylic on wood, Salomao emphasizes simplicity, functionality, and harmony. Her work draws inspiration from Bauhaus and the Neo-Concretism of Brazilian art, creating a unique fusion of historical and contemporary influences.

We are pleased to present Salon Abbozzo, a summer exhibition that is the confluence between a traditional gallery environment and the home of a collector with an eclectic eye for art and design. In collaboration with The Apartment, we transformed the space into an alluring salon experience by displaying curated vintage furniture including lighting, mirrors, kitchenware, and fine art together.

Abbozzo Gallery presents the Group Exhibition Wavelengths, a collection of work inspired by the intuitive and the innate, exemplary of the variety of what can be produced within the wavelengths of the visible colour spectrum. Featured are paintings and sculptures that speak to you silently in the way a familiar friend calls out with a wordless glance; all that is given and all that is needed is the outward expression of internal thought – in the universal language of art. Artists included are Lola Erhart, Delfina Gómez Marestaing, Celia Lees, Fabiana Salomao, Steven K. Tucker, and David Wilstermann, all exhibiting for the first time with Abbozzo Gallery.
