Exploring the space between reality and imagination, Crossfade blurrs the transition between the everyday and the cinematic. Figures, clad in vintage 3D glasses, are frozen in moments of collective wonder, their expressions reflecting the immersive power of film. Streetscapes, often overlooked in their everyday rhythm, become theatrical in their framing suggesting that cinematic moments exist all around us.

This exhibition strives to capture the feelings we all share around the holiday season. Each room, which is named after a holiday anthem, is designed to visually and contextually immerse you in a specific feeling.

Abbozzo Gallery is pleased to present Perfect Days, a group exhibition of work by represented artists. This collection of paintings and photography includes pieces that are contemplative, filled with emotion and embody an appreciation for shifts in nature, the movement of urban landscapes and the tenderness of relationships. From season to season in rural Ontario, downtown Toronto and household interiors, fragments of everyday life are beautifully captured by each of these artists.

This theme was inspired by the Japanese film of the same title, Perfect Days.

We are so excited to celebrate 30 years of community, 30 years of art for the love of art and 30 years of Abbozzo Gallery with our retrospective exhibition; an exhibition celebrating not just this milestone but the artists that have made this day possible.

We are pleased to present Salon Abbozzo, a summer exhibition that is the confluence between a traditional gallery environment and the home of a collector with an eclectic eye for art and design. In collaboration with The Apartment, we transformed the space into an alluring salon experience by displaying curated vintage furniture including lighting, mirrors, kitchenware, and fine art together.

Kelly Grace's first solo exhibition with us, The Scenic Route, is the artist's most cinematic and narrative work to date. Grace has tapped into her knowledge of cinema, graphic novels and story boarding to immerse the viewer in a chronological tale told through several paintings.
