This is a combination of two images, both from my solo journeys. One – to the Grand Canyon, with its vast beauty bathing in blue of the early evening air. And another one – in Ontario's north. It is about a desire to connect, yet not being able to, even though we often find ourselves going through similar things and emotions. With a bit of warm light, these solo journeys repeat those that were done many times before us and make the path for those who will come after us. Perhaps it is a religious cult heading towards a secret ceremony, or a journey of elder women towards the end of their lives. The story is for the viewer to create around it.
