Writer, interviewer and educator, Shien Zutshi, is curating some of her favourite artists and invites you to join her for an evening of introspection, celebration, and connection at "Women, Identity, and the Diaspora: A Celebration of Peace through Art" sponsored by Abbozzo Gallery and the CAMH Foundation's WomanMind initiative. This unique event will feature the powerful artwork of four exceptional artists, each exploring the complex journies of women of color (WOC) through the lenses of identity, vulnerability, and strength (see more details below).

Moses Salihou - Known for his evocative paintings that capture the essence of African heritage and contemporary identity, Moses Salihou is a Cameroonian artist based in Toronto. His work blends elements of portraiture and abstraction to explore ideas of belonging and existence. Salihou has exhibited across the United States, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, Africa, and Asia.
Nancy Kim - Nancy 상봉 (Sang Bong) Kim, known as NSBKIM, is a celebrated Canadian photographer of Korean descent and a Getty Images contributor. Starting her career in Toronto's nightlife scene, she has become a sought-after fashion and portrait photographer known for her inclusive and empowering work. Active in both Toronto and New York, Nancy’s portfolio includes collaborations with top brands and events like Fashion Art Toronto and New York Fashion Week
Isha Damania - Isha Damania is a South Asian Canadian artist exploring themes of displacement and belonging through her dynamic creations. She was recently featured in her first digital showcase at Art Basel in Miami, FL.
Bhavya Dixit - Bhavya Dixit is a traditional Indian artist who brings ancient art forms into modern dialogue, focusing on feminist narratives.
