Dan Steeves' latest exhibition is a contemplation of nostalgia, past experiences and youthful tranquility. Steeves has participated in over 100 public exhibitions all around the world, and is adding to this record with "One Step Closer To knowing", a compilation of two series of work created in the past three years: One Step Closer to Knowing & The Waiting Game. Selected works from both series will be displayed during this exhibition to showcase Steeves' short-term subject and medium evolution. Subtle differences in colour and subject matter between both series offer to the viewer a different lens through which the artist himself views his work. This makes the exhibiton more intimate, as viewers see his works from his own view point, giving them insight into the emotion and perspective of each memory displayed.
