30th Anniversary Exhibition

"I’m so excited for our 30th anniversary. It’s a special moment. I am grateful for all of my family and friends as well as the artists and collectors who have helped us get to this moment in time."
- Ineke Zigrossi, Abbozzo Gallery Director
Ineke Zigrossi first opened the doors of Abbozzo Gallery in 1993. Then located in the narrow but warm 179 Lakeshore Road East in Oakville with the simple goal of exhibiting “Artwork that thrills and inspires.” Starting as a local gallery representing regional contemporary artists, we moved to the larger space in Toronto at the famed 401 Richmond Building, exhibiting artists from across the globe, attending fairs internationally, and placing artworks in collections and museums around the world.
We are so excited to celebrate 30 years of community, 30 years of art for the love of art and 30 years of Abbozzo Gallery with our retrospective exhibition; an exhibition celebrating not just this milestone but the artists that have made this day possible. We’ve been blessed to have the support and loyalty of our beloved artists for decades, artists such as Naoko Matsubara, Dan Steeves, Ron Eady, Jennifer Walton, Heather Horton, Cora Brittan, Yury Darashkevich, Mary Ellen Farrow, Camie Geary-Martin, Arnold Zageris, Barbara Amos, Olexander Wlasenko as well as the pleasure of welcoming newer faces such as Patty Maher, Kelly Grace, Katharine Burns, Fabiana Salomao, David Wilstermann, Vladimir Kanic, Stéphane Alexis and many more who have contributed to our Anniversary Exhibition.
