Blink, 2025
Jacob Freeman (b.1994) is a Canadian artist living and working in London, UK. Jacob graduated with a BFA from the University of Western Ontario, CAN, 2016 and is currently pursuing his MFA at The Slade School of Fine Art, UK, 2025. His practice is fueled by his personal collection of found images sourced from magazine archives, movie stills and fan-page boards. Concerned with the mediation between source image and painting, his works delve into sites of transformation within the natural world and an exploration between the relationship of fantasy and reality within the horror genre.
